What is an Accredited Staging Professional®?

Accredited ASP Stagers® and ASP Real Estate Agents® are true Professionals trained under strict guidelines using proven Staging techniques developed for over 30 years. When you bring your home on the market and prepare your house for sale always hire and ASP because they are the true leaders in the Home Staging® and Real Estate industries.

Barb Schwarz, the developer of the ASP program, created The Staged Home Concept and in fact holds the Federally Registered Trademark on Home Staging®. She is a nationally recognized expert on Staging, has authored numerous books, and been featured extensively on national television shows.

Kathy Fix is proud to claim the title of an ASP Stager® and continually pursues education and information that increase her talents and experiences. Maintaining professional standards and ethics is an important part of her business. She is one of the first ASP Stagers® in the Murfreesboro area.

Additionally, Kathy has authored several articles featured in the Murfreesboro Post and informative posts on multiple real estate and Home Staging web sites.

She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kentucky and has worked in various aspects of the real estate field for more than 25 years.

 Kathy is the 2010 President for the Nashville Regional Chapter of the International Association of Home Staging Professionals.  She has previously served as President Elect and Secretary for that organization, along with serving as Chairperson for the 2008 World Wide Community Service Week project for the Chapter.

Kathy and Staging Dreams are active members of the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce and Affiliate Members of the Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors and the Middle Tennessee Women’s Council of Realtors, being the first Home Stager® to join either association. For 2008 she was recognized by the Middle Tennessee Women’s Council of Realtors as “honorable mention” for Affiliate Member of the year.  She is currently Secretary for the Middle TN WCR Chapter.

She has been a featured speaker on the topic of Home Staging at various seminars and meetings and is always happy to meet with your group to promote Home Staging and what it can do for you.
