Too much! This room had too much color and too much furniture. It felt like there was no room to walk in the area and it certainly didn’t invite you to sit down. With a neutral paint color on the walls and neutralizing the furniture the scene is calmed and clearing the clutter and reducing excess items the space is opened up.

This bookcase and dining room were not the scene you wanted when you walk in the front door. This dining room is right off the entryway and it felt cold and bare. By adding a simple color scheme carried out through the window treatment, wall sconces, art work, and table setting we transformed the room into a room conducive to entertaining and it certainly presents a more inviting view when you enter this house.
